Note from the Chair

We have two exciting events coming up and registration is now open! As you know, our annual World Reman Conference will be held this year in Springfield, Missouri, November 7-9. We are looking forward to great tours and informative speakers. Our R&D Committee is also excited to announce the return to in-person members-only events with our Reman Roadtrip in Chicago this July. See below for all the details about these events and how to register.

Draft International Standards have been released for Circular Economy. Our Trade & Policy Committee is hard at work reviewing these drafts to ensure that remanufacturing is well represented. Members are invited to participate in this review. Public comments are also welcome. See below for details.

We are still looking for additional representation for our new Finance Committee as well as a new Next Generation of Reman Leaders Committee. Please contact Michelle Hayes at mhayes@remancouncil.org if you are interested in joining these two new committees.

Finally, we are pleased to welcome Trane Technologies as a new member to our council.

DRAFT ISO STANDARDS FOR CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Draft International Standards 59004, 59010, and 59020 have been released. This is the final opportunity for comment before the standards are published next year. RIC members are invited to participate in the commenting process through the Trade & Policy Committee. Public comments are also accepted and should be submitted to your country's ISO member (ANSI in the United States).
