Reman News: 2022 Wrap Up and Looking Ahead to 2023

As we wrap up the year, we like to look back and celebrate our accomplishments as well as look forward at what is coming.

Our 2022 Year in Review covers our main accomplishments this year. For more detail on recent accomplishments, see the conference video and the replay of our November webinar. Below you'll also see details about the "What is Reman" presentation put together by our Marketing & Membership Committee, and the work our Trade & Policy Committee has been doing on international Circular Economy standards.

Looking forward, we are excited to celebrate Reman Day on April 13, our R&D Committee is hosting its next webinar on February 8th and you can read below about the work our Finance Committee is embarking on.

If you are not already involved with one of our committees, please consider joining one or inviting a colleague to participate and represent your member company. It is a great way to network, learn from our fellow reman colleagues, and add value to our organization.

We always encourage new members to get involved in a committee. It is the best way to get to know other members of RIC and provides an opportunity to steer the direction of the council. We have made an effort this year to add more opportunities for involvement by creating three new committees: Diversity Equity and Inclusion, Finance, and Next Generation of Reman Leaders.

All employees of member companies are eligible to participate in as many committees as they would like. We encourage all members to take a look at the updated committee information and share with your team. Click the button below to see a description of each committee as well as its current members. Last month the R&D Committee hosted the second webinar in this series focusing on the Consumer Products sector. The replay of that webinar is now available.

The next webinar in the series, focused on the Information Technology sector, will be held in February 2023.

This series will continue over the coming months, where you can expect to hear an overview of the sector, their reman processes, and their challenges, as well as their successes and their cutting edge technology. If you are interested in presenting about your sector, please get in touch.
