June 2019
Jenn Brake

It can be said that RIC is either getting ready for an event, at an event, or just wrapping up an event.  That couldn’t be more true than right now. We just wrapped up the R&D Workshop and Facility Tour at Anniston Army Depot (ANAD). We would like to thank ANAD for their hospitality and welcome them to the Remanufacturing Industries Council.

We are getting ready for not one but three events. First on June 18th, we are co-hosting a webinar with REMADE Institute on Design for Reman. RIC Board members, Jeff Stukenborg, Chief Engineer, Reman, WABCO Reman Solutions and Steve Holden, Manager, Special Projects, Carlyle Compressors will discuss the challenges involved in designing for reman as well as take you through actual product successes and the positive impact it can have on your business.

Next, we will be at ReMaTec in Amsterdam on June 23-25, 2019. ReMaTec is an annual Remanufacturing tradeshow in Europe. If you are planning to attend, be sure to stop by Booth 8.171 and say hello.

Lastly, registration is officially open for the RIC-RIT World Remanufacturing Conference. This year the conference will focus on disruptive innovation and how trends such as industry 4.0 and emerging technologies will impact remanufacturing. We have added a pre-conference networking dinner and tour at the historic Genesee Brewery. Be sure to register before August for the early bird discount.
Warm regards,
